Refund policy

1. Return Authorization Required

No item may be returned without prior written authorization. Customer must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) within 10 calendar days of delivery. Unauthorized returns will be refused.

 

2. Standard Return Eligibility

Only new, unused, uninstalled, standard-stock items in resalable condition may be eligible for return.

Items must:

  • show no signs of installation, use, grease, fluids, dirt, or mounting
  • include all original components, manuals, packaging, and hardware

 

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following are final sale and not eligible for return:

  • custom-built or made-to-order products
  • special-order or non-stock items
  • hydraulic, electrical, hose assemblies, cylinders, motors, pumps, valves
  • wear parts (teeth, blades, cutting edges, filters, belts, etc.)
  • installed, mounted, or used items
  • items altered, damaged, or modified after delivery

 

4. Return Window

Approved returns must be shipped within 7 calendar days of RMA issuance.
Late returns may be rejected at Region Equipment’s discretion.

 

5. Restocking Fee

All approved returns are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee.

Higher fees may apply based on:

  • manufacturer return charges
  • condition of returned item
  • required reconditioning or repackaging

Region Equipment reserves the right to refuse returns rejected by the manufacturer.

 

6. Freight and Shipping

Customer is responsible for:

  • all outbound shipping
  • all return shipping
  • liftgate, residential, re-delivery, storage, and accessorial charges

Original freight is non-refundable, including orders where freight was bundled, discounted, or advertised as “free shipping.”

 

7. Inspection and Condition

All returned items are subject to inspection.

Region Equipment reserves the right to:

  • reject returns not in approved condition
  • reduce refund amount
  • charge additional fees for damage or repackaging

 

8. Compatibility & Application Responsibility

Customer is solely responsible for verifying:

  • machine compatibility
  • coupler type
  • hydraulic flow and pressure
  • electrical requirements
  • application suitability

Incorrect orders due to customer-provided specifications are not considered seller error.

 

9. Damaged, Short, or Incorrect Shipments

Must be reported within:

  • 48 hours for freight damage
  • 5 days for shortages or errors

Photos and packaging must be retained.

 

10. Refused Shipments

Refused deliveries without prior authorization are not approved returns.

All resulting freight, return, and handling charges will be deducted from any credit.

 

11. Order Cancellations

Orders cancelled after placement may be subject to:

  • supplier cancellation fees
  • credit card processing fees
  • packaging or administrative costs

Custom or special-order items cannot be cancelled once processing begins.

 

12. Refund Method

Refunds are issued after inspection and approval via:

  • original payment method, or
  • store credit

 

13. Warranty

Manufacturer defects are handled under manufacturer warranty policies.

 

14. Limitation of Liability

Region Equipment is not responsible for:

  • labor costs
  • installation or removal
  • equipment downtime
  • loss of use or profits

 

15. Policy Acceptance

By placing an order, customer acknowledges and agrees to this policy.
