Purpose

Overview and Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Region Equipment (“Region Equipment,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and safeguards personal information when you visit our website, purchase products, request quotes or service, submit a form, seek financing through a linked provider, apply for employment, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with our business.

This Policy is a notice of our privacy practices. It is not a contract requiring you to consent to every practice described. Where consent is legally required, we will request it separately.

07

Shopify, Forms, Financing, and External Providers

Shopify

Our online store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes information about website visitors and customers to provide ecommerce, checkout, security, analytics, personalization, and related services. Shopify may act as our processor and, for some services, as an independent controller. Review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy for additional information.

Forms and service platforms

We use platforms such as Jotform and Service Fusion to receive forms, manage customer and service records, schedule work, and support operations. Information submitted through these services is processed for Region Equipment and may also be governed by the provider’s privacy terms.

Financing providers

Links to Clicklease, Ascentium Capital, and other financing providers direct you to independently operated websites. Financing providers determine what information they require and independently decide whether to approve an application. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy notices. Region Equipment may receive application status, approval, transaction, or customer information needed to facilitate an equipment purchase, but Region Equipment is not the lender.

Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party websites or services. We do not control their privacy or security practices and encourage you to review their notices before submitting information.

08

Cookies, Analytics, and Targeted Advertising

We and our partners, including Shopify, may use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, prevent fraud, analyze traffic, measure performance, personalize content, and support advertising.

These technologies may collect device and internet activity information and may connect that information with other information about you. You can manage available choices through our cookie banner, browser settings, and the Your Privacy Choices page.

Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising: We do not sell personal information for money. However, disclosures involving advertising, analytics, social-media, or Shopify services may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising under some privacy laws. Where applicable, you may opt out through Your Privacy Choices. We also honor legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where required and technically supported.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not uniform. Except for legally recognized opt-out preference signals, our response may vary by browser, technology, and applicable law.

09

Job Applicant Information

When you apply for employment or join our recruiting pipeline, we may collect contact details, work history, qualifications, licenses, certifications, references, compensation expectations, location preferences, and other information you provide.

We use applicant information to evaluate qualifications, communicate about opportunities, maintain a candidate pipeline, conduct permitted screening, comply with legal obligations, and protect our rights. Submission does not guarantee an interview or employment. We may retain applicant information for future openings, recordkeeping, and legal compliance, subject to applicable law.

10

Data Retention and Security

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Retention periods depend on the nature and sensitivity of the information, the duration of our relationship, warranty and service needs, transaction and tax requirements, government or contractual recordkeeping duties, fraud and security considerations, applicable statutes of limitation, and legal obligations.

For example, transaction, project, service, warranty, payment, and tax records may be retained for the applicable operational and legal recordkeeping periods; applicant information may be retained for recruiting and legal compliance; marketing information may be retained until you opt out or it is no longer useful; and cookie or device data is retained according to the relevant technology, consent setting, and provider configuration.

Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the volume and nature of the information we handle. No method of transmission, storage, or security is completely reliable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized activity.
